Orthotics
Do you from suffer from back pain, hip pain or knee pain while walking?
Orthotic insoles can greatly reduce and even eliminate these types of pain. Conservative treatment with orthotics can often significantly delay the need for invasive surgery.
Orthotic insoles fit quickly and easily inside your shoes. A wide range of standard in shoe orthotics are available to treat foot and gait related problems.
At the Queensberry Street Podiatry Practice we provide both standard and bespoke orthotics that are tailored to your condition. Bespoke orthotics involve a biomechanical assessment in which we look at gait and postural related issues. A plaster of paris cast is prepared and orthotics are manufactured onto the cast to our prescription. They are then fitted into the shoes.
